The Push is located on Level 1 and 2 of the Lock Building at Collingwood Yards, 35 Johnston Street, Collingwood.    

Direct access to the Lock Building is via the gated entry on Johnston Street, next door to The Tote.  

Head upstairs to Level 1 to access our workshop space and Electronic Music Incubator. You can find The Push team on Level 2.

 

Advice to Couriers

Enter from Johnston Street through the gated entry. Then head up the staircase to Level 2.

There is also a lift located on the opposite end of the same building.

Ring the doorbell and one of our helpful team will come to your assistance.

Staying COVID Safe

The Push’s Electronic Music Incubator is a recording studio which plays host to a series of innovative programs where young people can develop their skills and knowledge in electronic music production. 

This space has been made possible through the support of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation and Ableton.

The Push is operating in line with current COVIDSafe settings in Victoria, including wearing of masks in all indoor spaces in our building. For more information about COVID-19 restrictions, and how they may impact you, please click here.

We care about our community of young people, our fellow music lovers, our industry friends and passionate supporters, which is why we’ve made our offices, studio, programs and events COVIDSafe. 

As health and safety is our number one priority, we kindly ask that all visitors, staff, volunteers and participants stay home if they are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms of any kind. 

We’ve put in place the following measures to make sure our program participants, staff, volunteers and visitors are given the best and safest experience:

  • All staff and visitors are required to sign-in using the Service Victoria QR code displayed on entry to our building. Learn how to download the Service Victoria app here.

  • Hand sanitiser stations are located at the entry of the building and other locations within our space

  • Regular professional cleaning of our offices and studio

  • Physically distanced seating and reduced capacity in all spaces

We are committed to ensuring all shared spaces encourage social distancing where appropriate.
