triple j’s One Night Stand Warrnambool – Join the All-Ages Events Team!

 
 

The Push is looking for 15 young people aged 15–17 with a passion for live music years to help deliver triple j’s One Night Stand show in Warrnambool this September.

As a member of the One Night Stand – All-Ages Events Team, you will participate in an seven-week training program, where you’ll get hands-on experience, skills development and networking opportunities in the contemporary music industry, across a range of areas including stage management, technical and sound production, promotions and marketing, video production, photography, artist liaison and bookings.

+ What are the requirements?

All participants must:

  • Be aged between 15 – 17 years old
  • Be able to attend at least 80% of fortnightly meetings (video/teleconference is available for rural and regional participants) for the duration of the five-week program
  • Be able to attend the triple j’s One Night Stand event on Saturday 14 September 2024
  • Be involved as an active participant of the program until October 2024.

+ Who can apply?

While the program is open to all young people in Warrnambool, Victoria and surrounding suburbs aged 15 – 17, priority access will be given to:

  • First Nations young people
  • Young people of colour
  • Young people from low-income households
  • Young women
  • Non-binary young people
  • Young people with a disability
  • LGBTQIA+ young people

+ What will I gain from participating in this program?

As part of the program, you will gain hands on experience, training, and networking opportunities in the contemporary music industry, across a range of areas including:

+ How much does the program cost?

Participation in the program is free.

The Push offers financial subsidies for internet access and travel expenses to participants who may be experiencing financial hardship.

Program meetings are fortnightly (online and in person) on Thursdays 4:30pm – 6:30pm, commencing Thursday 15 August 2024
