All-Ages Grants Program: All-Ages Gigs Set to Sweep Victoria!

The Push is excited to announce the recipients of The Push All-Ages Grants Program, an initiative of the Victorian Gig Fund as part of the Victorian Government’s 10,000 Gigs Program.

This grants program supports live music venues, booking agents, artists, promoters, and community organisations to stage all-ages shows throughout Victoria.

Funding through the All-Ages Grants program will be used to cover costs associated with staging all-ages events including artist fees, production costs, marketing and promotion or venue hire fees. More than 70 applications were received, with a total of $120,000 awarded.

The 24 recipients of The Push All-Ages grants were selected by a panel of experts including industry and youth representatives and have been awarded to a diverse list of artists, venues, and presenters throughout the state. Funded activities will include album launches, mini-festivals and showcases.

“The strong demand for the All-Ages Grants Program demonstrates the growing interest amongst artists, venues and promoters to engage with a new generation of live music audiences. We can’t wait to see these events bring live music experiences to young audiences across the state.”

– CEO of The Push, Kate Duncan

“The Push’s All-Ages grants are delivering a brilliant lineup of events for young music fans across Victoria, who sometimes face a limited choice of live gig options. This program, proudly supported through our 10,000 Gigs initiative, is also providing performing opportunities for up and coming local artists and supporting local venues.”

– Victorian Government Minister for Creative Industries Colin Brooks
