The Push All-Ages Tour is back in May, and we are looking for up to 14 young Victorian artists to bring your music to audiences across the suburbs of Melbourne for a HUGE all-ages live music experience.
If you're aged 25 or under and are a music-maker or in a band and reckon you’ve got the goods, all you gotta do is have your submit your application below to be in the running!

- Applications open 4:00pm AEDT on Friday 7 March 2023 and close at 5:00pm AEDT Friday 17 March 2023.
- We will be choosing up to fourteen local young bands or artists to play at one or more following shows.
- Friday 5 May, Brighton - Show #1: Thelma Plum + JACOTÉNE
- Sunday 7 May, Thornbury - Show #2: Mallrat + Tia Gostelow
- Friday 12 May, Box Hill - Show #3: Teenage Dads + JAGUAR JONZE
- Saturday 13 May, Glen Eira - Show #4: The Terrys + South Summit
- Friday 19 May, Hawthorn - Show #5: Cub Sport + Cry Club
- Friday 26 May, Clayton - Show #6: King Stingray + The Vovos
- Saturday 27 May, Ivanhoe – Show #7: King Stingray + Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers
- The winner(s) will be chosen by The Push and All-Ages Events Team.
- The winner(s) will be picked based on their ability to deliver a good live performance suitable for one or more of the above shows.
- The winners will be notified the notified of outcome Friday 31 March 2023.
- An opportunity to perform at The Push All-Ages Tour with supporting two of the following headliners Cub Sport, Cry Club, JACOTÉNE, Jaguar Jonze, King Stingray, Mallrat, South Summit, Teenage Dads, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, The Terrys, Thelma Plum, Tia Gostelow, The Vovos.
- A performance fee of $500 per show.
- Artists will be responsible for making their way to and from the event.
- The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
- No replacement will be offered in the event that the prize cannot be claimed on the stipulated dates.
- Judges’ decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- As a winner, you will be representing The Push and the local FReeZA team at this event. As such you are obligated to behave responsibly and professionally and comply with the rules and requests that the event organisers ask of you.
+ What do I need to include in my application?
Applicants will be required to submit:
- 1 x 3-minute (max) video introducing yourself (artist name/members/music style), explaining what performing at the show would mean to you, why you believe all-ages shows are important and what has been your most memorable moment in your music career to date. Please name the file: ‘(Artist Name)_Video_Application.mp4’
- 1 x 5-minute (max) video of you performing your best song (this can be in front of a live audience or in your bedroom). Please name the file: ‘(Artist Name)_Live_Performance.mp4’
- Complete online application form including contact details and written responses
+ Who can apply?
While the program is open to all Victorian artists local young artists and performers under 25 years of age, priority will be given to artists who are:
- First Nations young people
- Young people of colour
- Young women
- Non-binary young people
- Young people with a disability
- LGBTQIA+ young people
The Push All-Ages Tour is delivered as a part of On The Road Again - a Victorian Government initiative to bring live music back across the state.
