Join the Busselton One Night Stand All-Ages Events Team!

 
 
 

The Push is looking for eight young people aged 15–17 years with a passion for live music to help deliver triple j’s One Night Stand in Busselton this May.

triple j is bringing their iconic outdoor event to Busselton, WA, on Saturday 24 May, and we want you to be a part of it.

As a member of The Push’s One Night Stand All-Ages Events Team, you’ll participate in a two-month training program, where you’ll get hands-on experience, career development and networking opportunities in the contemporary music industry, learning from The Push and the triple j team and supporting the delivery of the event on the day.

You’ll be in the middle of all the exciting action, while learning new skills across a range of areas including stage management, technical and sound production, promotions and marketing, video production, photography, artist liaison and bookings.

Frequently Asked Questions about the All-ages Events Team

 

+ What are the requirements?

All participants must:

  • Be aged between 15 – 17 years old
  • Be able to attend at least 80% of weekly meetings for the duration of the six-week program
  • Be able to attend the One Night Stand event in person (dates above)

+ Who can apply?

While the program is open to all young people in Busselton, Western Australia aged 15 – 17, priority access will be given to:

  • First Nations young people
  • Young people of colour
  • Young people from low-income households
  • Young women
  • Non-binary young people
  • Young people with a disability
  • LGBTQIA+ young people

+ What will I gain from participating in this program?

As part of the program, you will gain hands on experience, training, and networking opportunities in the contemporary music industry, across a range of areas including:

  • Promotions and Marketing
  • Photography, Videography and Social Media
  • Artist Liaison and Bookings
  • MC-ing

+ How much does the program cost?

Participation in the program is free.

The Push offers financial subsidies for internet access and travel expenses to participants who may be experiencing financial hardship.

+ Where does the program take place?

Program meetings are weekly as per the dates above.

All teams will meet online on the dates listed above with an in-person meeting the day before the events.
