Apply now for the FReeZA Mentoring Program 2015

PrintApplications are now open for for the 2015 FReeZA Mentoring Program, a free program to help young Victorians aged 18 and 25 establish themselves in the music industry.

The mentoring program funded by the Victorian Government will see young participants matched up, one-on-one, with a supportive mentor who is already established within the music industry. Past mentors include Kirsten Doert of Catherine Harridy Management, MC Azmarino of Diafrix, and Lorrae McKenna from Remote Control Records. The mentees will have the chance to develop their skills by working on festivals and events as well as a variety of professional development activities. The program will also include the opportunity to hear from a range of experts in intensive master classes.

The Push Executive Officer Peter Chellew said “It’s great to be able to provide young people with the opportunity to further their FReeZA experience through, money can’t buy, one-on-one industry mentoring and master classes.”

FReeZA Mentoring is open to young people between the ages of 18 – 25 who reside in Victoria with an interest in a career in the Music Industry. This may include those with aspirations to becoming performing artists, composers, producers, sound engineers, event managers, booking agents, publicists, journalists or rock photographers to name a few.

Applications for the Mentoring Program 2015 have now closed.

FReeZA Mentoring is funded through the FReeZA Program, a Victorian Government Initiative and presented by The Push. For more information, please contact The Push on (03) 9380 1277 or email
