Push Songs for songwriters under 25, applications close April 10

Tom-IansekPush Songs’ innovative and inspiring song writing mentoring program heads into its 2nd round throughout this April and May 2015 and again it’s FREE!

To develop your song writing skills, successful applicants will take part in 3, one on one song writing workshops, plus be invited to join the Tuesday Night Song Club to meet and share ideas and live performance opportunities with fellow song writers.

Working alongside Push Songs Co-ordinator Charles Jenkins in this youth focused round will be song writing mentors including Ainslie Wills, Tom Larkin, Alex Lahey (Animaux) and Tom Iansek (Big Scary/# 1 Dads) (pictured).

For this round, particpants from all areas of Victoria who are 25 YEARS OF AGE or UNDER are encouraged to apply for the Brunswick-based program, which is managed by The Push and APRA AMCOS and supported by Arts Victoria and the Australia Council. The workshops take place at The Push Offices at Brunswick Town Hall, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, so spread the word please!
