FReeZA Mentoring Program: last call for applications closing Jan 30

The FReeZA Mentoring Program is a free program to help young Victorians aged 18-25 establish themselves in the music industry. The program matches up young participants one-on-one with a supportive mentor who is already established within the industry, and gives them the chance to develop skills by working on festivals, events and a variety of professional development activities and master classes.  Push Songs: Free songwriting mentoring

Applications are open for our FREE and inspiring songwriting program. Continuing throughout February/March, you’ll get to take part in one-on-one songwriting workshops, plus be invited to join the Tuesday Night Song Club and share performance opportunities with fellow songwriters. This round’s mentors are Charles Jenkins, Mark Seymour, Adalita, and Liz Stringer. Applications close January 30. More info / Apply

Local band wanted for Soundwave

triple J Unearthed and Soundwave are offering the amazing opportunity for one artist to join the massive Soundwave bill in each state the festival’s being held in. All you’ve gotta do to be in the running is to 1) be a total mosh lord and 2) have your best tracks uploaded to www.triplejunearthed.com by February 8.

Traineeship opportunities via ArtsReady

Digital Marketing Internship at Collarts

Due to growth in the marketing department of Collarts, they are tking on a Digital Marketing Intern for 2 days p/w for a 3 month internship. You will apply your skills and experience to real world examples of content marketing, social media, community management, SEO/SEM, and e-newsletters whilst gaining valuable understanding, insight and experience. Find Your Own Groove sessions

Find Your Own Groove is a series of electric music sessions facilitated by music producers Moses Iten (Cumbria Cosmonauts) and Bryan Phillips (Galambo). Investigate the creative process of contemporary music production and experiment with sound design, to unveil your own sounds and find your groove.
