Ableton Live is a limitless tool for sampling and developing your own personalised sound. In the first half of this session, producers Memphis LK and Alice Ivy will provide an entry-level breakdown of the basics of Ableton Live, with the second half moving towards more specialised skills in recording and production. Participants will have the opportunity to learn basic sampling techniques, how to sample directly from vinyl to make a beat, as well as how to capture quality recordings, import and manipulate audio and add audio effects in Ableton. This is a beginner-intermediate level workshop and is all ages.
