Applications Open: All-Ages Tastemaker, Event Photographers and Video Producers Wanted!

We’re looking for creative young volunteers to join The Push family in 2019! If you’re interested in getting your foot in the door and gaining valuable skills in the music industry, check out the positions currently available below.

Event Photographers and Video Producers

We are looking for creative young people aged 16-25 to lead the visual creation and documentation of The Push in 2019. Duties include capturing high quality photos and/or videos of Push events around Melbourne, assisting the Social Media Coordinator in creating content for The Push website, social media channels, Annual Report and other publications, and pitching ideas and concepts for events that reflect The Push brand.

All-Ages Tastemaker

We’re seeking a young person aged 16-25 with their finger on the pulse to lead the creation of a weekly music column with a strong focus on all-ages events and youth relevant music news. Duties include writing a weekly blog entry for the Push website covering youth relevant new releases, upcoming events and other Victorian youth music news across a broad range of genres, researching relevant media, online and other resource possibilities to ensure that all- ages events occurring in and around Victoria are covered in the blog, producing The Push Beat Magazine All-Ages Music Column – a weekly music news and event supplement about music, bands or other relevant issues with a focus on all-ages events, and reviewing all-ages events as requested and review new music releases where appropriate for the Push website.
